    Default Bigger turbo??

Does anyone know if there is a bigger turbo that can be fitted to my 1.9 cdti? I have no idea what is available to me about improving the performance on my car. Cheers, George

this might sound silly but wouldnt it be cheaper to go back to your vxr if you want to go faster, am interested why you got rid in first place mate and moved to diesal vec?

The biggest thing at the time was the insurance. It cost me £3500 for 8 months insurance. The second thing was the fuel. I use to travel Southampton-Plymouth quite often and the VXR would waste the whole tank of petrol if I wanted it to.
Diesel = Cheaper tax by £80 per annum, cheaper insurance by £1000 at least and better fuel economy (45 mpg compared to 25 mpg). With my current car, my bhp is 30 bhp short of a standard astra vxr, but my torque is miles better. So, my overall performance isn't a lot slower than when I had the astra. Hopefully that makes sense.

I have no idea just how it could be achieved but have you thought of adopting the Saab 9-3 Twin Turbo approach? 180Hp out the box, plus tuing potential to well over 200,,,,,
