    Default PI's -30mm springs

    Hey guys

My GSi Failed the MOT other day on a front spring. So ive decided to do what many others before me have done, and lower it, i aint paying £172+ VAT for a pair from vx... lol

Now i quite like the ride of the standard gsi so i decided to only go down by another 15 (i have bought -30mm springs)

Do these springs swap straight over like they claim they do? Only ive been told by a local garage that i may have problems swaping them... and that certain parts could posibly shear etc... Is this true? I thought they were a deffinate perfect fit

It also went down on track rod end and cv gaitor

I decided to do the same thing when I had broken springs.

I fitted a 30mm Spax SSX kit from Demon Tweeks that cost me £90 that lowered my SRI by 15mm.

I didn't want it completely slammed so these are a good compromise.

I didn't have any problems fitting the springs myself in about 3 hours.

Quite happy with how it looks with my OZ 19's
