Nice motor. Vut i would say that as mine is near identical apart from blue.
You need a plain black grill for the front. They look mean as hell on dark Vecs.

I had thought of a black(painted) standard grill(ie. the vauxhall symbol/grill in matt black or colour coded with the car?

the size of the car is taking some getting used to, my last few cars were all hatchbacks(MkV Gold GT TDI[140], MkIV Golf GT TDI [150]mapped to 180, Vauxhall Astra GSI[Red Top], ...).

It is a big car isnt it. Its the perfect sized car for my family and swallows my sons pram no problem.
Its not huge though but big enough to be comfortable and my other half hasnt hit anything YET so it cant be too bad.
It is a great car for long journeys although if your an adult the back does get a bit uncomfortable after a while. Not as bad as my old Mondeo though.
Its a good family car that still manages to look a bit sporty. Im not quite ready for slippers and a pipe just yet.

tha family thing is why I bought her, we have a 10wk old son, to say he doesnt travel light would be putting it mildly

my 3dr golf just want practical and my wifes focus saloon is petrol so not good for longer journeys(of which there are many in the south west of ireland)
