Exclamation Megs 2.0 W9207 Soft Buff Finishing Pad

Last year I was brought the above kit for my annual celebration (birthday) yesterday I used it for the 1st time been a little aprehensive.

I used the 2.0 W8207 Soft Buff Polishing Pad & the #80 Speed Glaze to remove some swirls and scuffs from my wife's Vec B - what a difference and then topped it of with some Megs Gold Class Clear Coat Wax paste.

The 2.0 W7207 Soft Buff Cutting Pad and #83 Dual Action Cleaner Polish are for heavy work - I think

I've trawled the web but cant find what or when to use the finishing pad or what products to use with it

Megs 83 has quite a bit more cut than the speed glaze, and being a deminishing polish requires a bit of work to make it do the job, but the results from that can be amazing.

You have done right by starting with the least cut (potentially working upwards) and if its done the job required then there is no need for anything more.

The finshing pad can be used to remove any buffer trails and the like when cutting - alternatively they are generally used when applying glazes/waxes after the polishing / cutting stage of a detail.

I use some ultrafine or the megs #80 for finishing on the black pad. For bad swirls the red or yellow pad and #83.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!
