coolant tank sludge

hi all, just a quicky, found some sludge like what you get under the oil cap in my coolant tank, now im thinking its just where its been stood up as ive been using my run around, ive heard of oil cooler problems but thats for certain transmissions, any thoughts?

could be just where its beenn stood, flush the system out, use the car, if it reappears then you know you have oil leaking into the water somewhere. (oil cooler, head gasket ect).

If your not sure how to flush the system, get back to me and ill talk you through it.

Whats the gravity like in the coolant?
Have you checked the oil for water contamination?

As a 2003 the radiator might be starting to break up
I know my local mechanic is starting to see a lot more of these than normal, the last winter damaged quite a lot of radiators / coolant systems, all found to have insufficient coolant strength
