Default abs finnaly sorted at £330..

well guys i finnaly got my abs sorted by " AA Auto electrics " it needed a new hub from vauxhall £165, they chopped the plug off and done a rewire thing, so £330 later its sorted.
they checked all the wiring and it was fine operantly.

thought i would share my experience.

£30 diagnostic, 2 Hours £70, and somethin els. plus vat.

after just one week the light is back on, took it back to them "oh the wiring is fine" after checking it for 2 hours "it must be the hub again, its ordered in for tomorrow".
so i now need to leave the car with them for another few hours to get it replaced again! ****** vauxhall.

I used to have a Renault Laguna, and everytime it rained it would throw the ABS Light on - it was under warrenty and went back 7 times but after replacing various bits on the ABS system as soon as it started raining it would come back on.

Car went out of warranty and i took it to a renault electrics specialist who said that there was water getting into the power supply, one of the cables ran right on the underneath of the car and thats where the water was getting in shorting out the electrics.

As such the whole lot needed rewiring - I thought no chance and i got rid of that poor excuse of "engineering" and vowed never ever to buy another Renault ever again (I had lots of other issues with a prev Laguna I had).

I know that this doesnt help you but i just wanted to share my experiance to say that with ABS issues you are not alone
