    Default SW I - Taunton 23/7

Another fabulous Vectra-C meet, this time the South West's first gathering. Well done Micky, great choice of location, especially some of the extra 'leggy' scenery

Not bad attendance for a first meet with 8 cars, 7 Vecs and of course 1 Siggy, alone as usual Couldn't have asked for better weather, nice and sunny but not too hot. All the cars looked stunning, even Cabby's and Plasma's after a quick jet wash, as normal the QD sprays came out in force as soon as we were settled. Even had a visit from the Alien, must have walked down from Billing

Nice to see that all the South West members had a good time and are enthusiastic about the region, they've even started planning the next meet, which I will of course attend if I'm able to nice to see a new face as well in Chris (and his lovely other half), I can see that car becoming another one of the site's star vehicles as there's plenty of mods in the pipeline

Both the GSi's were looking and sounding fantastic and that there Tractor's Lexmaul front end looks fantastic. Quite chuffed with the 'special' calipers on the siggy, flippin awesome! Ok, that's enough banter, here's my pics:

Nearly didn't get home in one piece lol. Bombing along the M5 with Dean and Chris at ahem mph, there was a load of debris in my lane, suitcase and it's contents spread across the carriageway. Fortunately there was nothing on the inside and with my super fantastico suspension I was able to change lane at the very last second, car didn't bat an eyelid, which is more than I can say for my pooper if the veccy really had as chronic an understeer problem as Mr Clarkson claims, I think i'd be dead right now. Rock on Koni FSD shocks and Goodyear F1 tyres

They are Mille Miglia EVS 18"s. I love 'em, they need a refurb though, but look good from about 10' away
