Default Does anyone run a cone filter on 150cdti?

Hi all, did used to have a cone filter on my 150cdti(well 180 now haha) but i took it off as read too much into it screwing with MAF, also did have panel filter upgraded but also read into this messing with it also so just went back to standard box (mod'd) with paper filter.

Just wanted to hear if anyone had any positive stories in regards to this?

I have read about this issue but doesn't sound like a major problem. Sounds like a case of a few not maintaining the filter correctly. Need cleaning and re-oiling as per manufacturers info. I imagine there are some that have never looked at the instructions and had issues. Thats my take on it....and i''ll be fitting my ITG panel filter this wekend

I have a Simota closed induction kit and have had no issues, pulls noticeably smoother and quicker with a noise to die for.

I've not heard of any issues with uprated intakes on a CDTi.
