    Default Porridge Poll

To complement my new gym routine and dietary requirements I'm eating Porridge again... and loving it.

However, there is a huge difference between pan cooked and microwaved

Do you notice the difference and what do you prefer

I pan cook mine use Scott's original variety, simmer until it goes soft with a pinch of salt in the water, then add brown sugar when serving it in the bowl (approx a desert spoonful as I don't like it to be over sweet.

I regularly enjoy this if I miss a meal or in winter as brekkie!

I like the two minute stuff, cinnamon and apple and blueberry.Have it every morning and double helpings when i am going for a long-ish bike ride..great for energy.
I also find it good when i get the munchies, makes you feel full up and takes that hungry feeling that lead to picking vanish

Scotts oats with Milk,Sultanas and maybe sliced Banana, place bowl with plate over the top in Microwave full power (1000w) for 2 minutes. Leave to cool/finish cooking for 2-5 mins, yummy!

For that extra special treat add frozen summer fruits instead.

Thank you for whatching Delia, next week we will be cooking some sort of smelly fish dish that will make you retch.

Pan for me and it is a winter thing. You need to get your misses to pan it for you. Like mine does. Not for microwave lol
