Default Radweld -- Will it hold??

I have just had to put radweld in my wife's (2000) 2.3 Galaxy as the radiator had a drip drip leak. How long will it stop the leak for ? More importantly if it comes to it what will a new radiator cost ? Cheers

Hi.I Have an "04"Vectra c.Around February last year, the header tank level kept dropping from time to time,on examination, some plastic mounting had rubbed a hole in the radiator. The stealers wanted around £300 to fit a new rad.Popped in some Radweld and havn't had a problem since!!! Go for it.

Sorry to hijack the thread, Where can I get the radweld from? and how is it used?? I've also got this problem where the coolant tank looses water time to time and garage suspects possible radiator leak somewhere. Cheers guys

radweld and kseal very similar to use.

just shake it up for a bit and pour into the header tank.

The good thing with k seal is it will 'integrate' with the existing fluids (coolant) so there is no need to flush. just put in and drive.

You can pick them up from any decent car accessories outlet

If there is no edvidence of leakage on your drive, check for beige gunge under the oil filler cap.
