    Default Is it a write-off ?

    All,

Is this damage repairable or will the insurance write the car off ? It is a low mile, 56 plate 2.2 SRi in immaculate condition otherwise ! hit by a 17y.o. 1 month driver

    Thanks

Need to see the whole car as kinda hard to tell, but with suspension damage its highly possible.

    Guys

Thanks for your views. I attach a pic of the whole car. Been waiting nearly 2weeks for it to be assessed. Air bags etc all gone off and driver door stiff, otherwise the car is undamaged. I noted the drive shaft etc was pulled out.

    Cheers

Airbag deployment alone is enough to write a car off. £500 to a £1000 per airbag, plus the cost of a replacement dash and headlining if the curtian airbags have been deployed.

Lookig at the pic, it looks like there is a gap between the door and windscreen pillar which would suggest the A pillar has been shunted upwards.

Agree with others - that'll be written off.
