All,
Is this damage repairable or will the insurance write the car off ? It is a low mile, 56 plate 2.2 SRi in immaculate condition otherwise ! hit by a 17y.o. 1 month driver
Thanks

Need to see the whole car as kinda hard to tell, but with suspension damage its highly possible.
Aye that looks to be a write off mate, there will be a fair bit of damage to that chassis leg
suspension wing bonnet lights bumper chassis damage etc the list looks to be fairly extenisve id have said ye thats write off realistically
I;d say that'll go on a Cat-C too!
mine had less than that and was a right off so id say so matey
bumper, lights, inner wing, outer wing, suspension strut, lower arm, drive shaft, undertray, alloy wheel, tyre, possbile gearbox damage?, steering rack?, bonnet?, door?, sill?, mouldings, plus more... paint, labour.... my guess is write off mate
Guys
Thanks for your views. I attach a pic of the whole car. Been waiting nearly 2weeks for it to be assessed. Air bags etc all gone off and driver door stiff, otherwise the car is undamaged. I noted the drive shaft etc was pulled out.
Cheers
New dash as well then. Sorry mate
Airbag deployment alone is enough to write a car off. £500 to a £1000 per airbag, plus the cost of a replacement dash and headlining if the curtian airbags have been deployed.
Lookig at the pic, it looks like there is a gap between the door and windscreen pillar which would suggest the A pillar has been shunted upwards.
Agree with others - that'll be written off.
