Veccy B 2.5 V6 Auto

Hi guys,

I've seen a Vec B 2.5 V6 CDX Auto for sale that i'm interested in. I've owned 4 Vec C's but i'm now looking for a B.

The car in question is a T reg with just over 76k and a FSH. I'm waiting on the owner getting back to me on whether the cambelt has been changed, but other than that what else should i look for when checking the car over?

It's advertised at £400......

Hi there m8, to mention just a few of them - rear rose bushes - arb's - trailing arm bushes, rear bank manifold are prone to cracking, front anti roll bar bushes, rocker gaskets leaking - oil coolers can give head gasket symptoms if they go, other general wear & tear items check rear tyre's for un even wear this will give a clue if rear bushes are shot.

That's quite a lot! What are the obvious signs of the bushes being shot?

Knocking on the rear, creaking over bumps, uneven tyre wear. Grab hold of the wheels and rock them back and forth (push pull) from the top of the wheel you will feel any play.
