    Default Interior change

    Hi all,

A question for you all. I have a blue 2002 Vec that has a light blue interior which I don't mind so much, but it gets dirty far to easily and isn't in the best condition.

If I were to buy charcoal SRi seats and door cards, could I swap the JUST charcoal cloth from the new door cards and add to my existing door cards? Or would that be a sewing nightmare??

Reason being is all the plastic in the car is blue, not charcoal so I think as long as the fabrics matched, and all the plastics matched it would look pretty good, or OK at the very least.

    Thoughts please!!
    Si

Has anyone ever pulled the fabric part off a door card to swap it over?? I just don't wanna try it and ruin what I have currently!

yes matey it can be done its not sewing its cutting with a chisel and hammer and screwing and glueing all four card will take about 4 hours ive done it before when i added leather to my sri i kept the sri door trims and added the elite leather looks spot on now.
its a job and a half to do but well worth it im quite a few miles away but if you wanna bring it up i'll do the swap for you but your buying the celibratory beer! and it better be cold!!
