It's pretty straightforward, the thermostat is Vxhall only and comes as the complete housing complete with temperature sensor. You will need some jubilee clips if you can't reuse the old clips, don't know how much coolant you will need, there are quite a few threads if you do a search.

easy job to do, i did mine took about 1 1/2 hours for the non mechanic. I had great difficulty undoing the rad drain and in the end just let the coolant come out when i removed the pipes from the housing. i am sure there would be a how 2 on here.

the thermostat is on the right side of the block, i found it easier to remove the battery and battery box so that you can see what your doing, some one has already mention new clips, a good idea, and get enough RED anti freeze just incase you can't save it! An easy job, just take your time. Mine cost Ģ44 from the stealers.

When you refil the coolant, just undo the bleed screw at the front of the engine until coolant comes out, start the engine and it should auto bleed the rest.

    info from tis,
Start engine and allow to run
Note: Operate engine with the following cycle 1 x: 30 seconds – 2000 rpm to 2500 rpm, 5 seconds idle speed, 30 seconds – 2000 rpm to 2500 rpm.

Allow engine to warm up at idle speed until the 1st radiator fan stage is also switched on.

Operate engine with the cycle above again 1 x

Cooling system bleeds automatically during engine warm-up phase

dont forget battery code, and the electric windows ( you will have to hold closed button for 5 secs on each window to get auto feature working after reconecting the bat)
