    Default Fuel additives

Does anyone use Redex Diesel or forte on a semi regular basis? and if so do they agree with the 1.9 engine?

I planned to run some through my car when I got home with it as I have always believed in these products in petrol's.

Yeah I use Redex Diesel on my 2.2 DTI. I went to clean my boost sensor the other week and it was pretty clean when I took it out. I dunno if this is down to the redex???

I used Millers Diesel Sport 4 on & off for about 10k miles then every fill for over 20k miles hoping that I was keeping the engine clean & improving the mpg. I gave up using it a couple of months after the manifold & EGR gave up at under 50k. I've seen no difference in mpg, performance or refinement since stopping so I won't be buying any more but each to their own.

edit: If you buy it by the gallon it works out about half price but you'll need to do high mileage or split it
