Servicing Your Vectra C

I had the service light come on my vectra so tried to book it in for a service was quoted a price of £250 which included MOT so decided to do it myself - MOT and oil change new filter ect cost £90.
I am having a K&N air filter (panel) , pollen filter , fuel filter , new sparks ect will cost another £ 80 .
All fluids look ok , not sure what else i can do to be honest looked through the service book and everything else seems to be checks which should have been part of the MOT or i can do myself.
Can any one think of any thing else i can do or you do yourself as part of a yearly service.

brake pads and disks, check your springs for breaks, shocks for leakage. Check all lights (bulbs), check to see that your rubber exhaust hangers are not perished or missing.

Cheers caveman checked most of those as standard ............but not the rubber exhaust thingymabobs will check them asap.........cheers nice one.

We just put a car through MOT with Nationwide Auto centres, booked online and got the mot for £27 or so (1/2 price). Could save u some more money!
