    Default boost sensor

    folks, cleaned out the boost sensor this weekend, thanks to the posts already entered, it was completely full of crud. sprayed it out with carb cleaner as suggested. myquestion is now what else would you suggest i do. as it was so thick should i be looking elsewhere.

    signum 1.9cdti 55 plate 110,000. im not certain what has been done to it last serviced at 95,000 any advise would be good

    do you know if the inlet manifold has been changed ?, is the swirl bar still attatched ?, you could also remove the throttle body, clean & check its butterfly is working fully by hand, pic link included of the throttle body, and its a must to clean the EGR ''fully'', theres a 'how 2 in the how 2 section explaning this. (pic of the EGR also. the egr 'hole' in the manifold MUST be cleaned it always gets clogged up!.

    thanks for your help, i was amazed how much gunk was in the boost sensor
