    Default need advice?

    hi all was driving in carpark local retail park,when bloke just reversed out without looking i just stopped and he court the front corner of bumper/wing , the paint is of the bumper about 30 mm long, and front corner of the wing has been pushed in up to the light(no lights damage) was woundering if its worth claiming for(have exchanged name/adresses)

    I would if you were stationary its not gonna be your insurance you'll be claiming off so you wont lose your no claims and you'll get your car put right for free.

    i would keep the photographic evidence in case he denies the accident never happened

    if you do go through your insurance, when you renew you have to tell them that there was a claim and it was the other partys fault it still makes your premium go up. i had it last year were someone reversed into me didnt affect me atall until i came to renew and i asked y it had gone up and not down the fella said it was because of the accident even though it was not my fault.

    see first if the fella offers to pay for the damage before going through the insurance

    Thats strange, my mrs wrote off my old corsa (not her fault) and when I bought her the vectra the insurance went down not up at renewal time and considering the vectra is a bigger car and newer and worth more I was shocked it went down. Same company and everything.

    god knows must have just bin the insurer i was with, defo something worth finding out about before you go ahead with anything just incase.
