Standard SRi Brakes?

Hi Guys,

I've had a quick look on the forums using the search but can't seem to find the answer....

I've got a 58 plate Vectra SRi and was wondering what the standard brake discs are on the SRi ... and are they any different to a non sport model like the Exclusiv?

Brakes are dependant on engine size mate, nothing else. Only the 2.0 Turbo, 2.8 Turbo and 3.0 diesel have larger than standard...

285mm vented at the front, 278mm solid at the rear...

Brake kits i.e. disc and pad kits

285mm fronts - 93186297
278mm rears - 93186300

You can buy the kits from the dealers at around 50 quid each,...

Would there be any benefit of upgrading the brakes or do you think they're good enough the way they are?

Personally? I think they're shocking as they are and the 314mm V6 ones should be standard across the range. Mind you, I do now have the 345mm VXR ones...

you'll be fine with standard ones if you upgrade you'll need bigger wheels

Nah, the 314's fit under 17's no problem mate...

didn't know if jdx-sri's exclusive had the 16inc wheels trims thats all cause i have the same setup as your pic

I was going on the principle of him having an SRi, but I have a feeling you would probably fit the 16's over the 314's as my old spare wheel fitted and that was 16"...
