    Default shed some light

right i have a 1.9 cdti 150 and recentley changed the manifold as the swirls where nackered. I also blanked off the egr valve in the process using a gasket made from a can of coke with the hole in the middle!

problem is even though the car is now faultlessley smoothe when idling theres seems to be a lot more turbo lag than before and its really starting to get frustrating! I have changed the two vacuum pipes pipes going from the vacuum box to the actuator but still no joy

anyone else had this problem? im starting to think it could be the egr blank but not sure

If you have changed your manifold double check all the pipes you havetook off

and also i would consider venting your oil system to atmosphere tonstopnthe oil build up from clogging your manifold up again check my diy oil catch tank thread in here you can do it for free
