i seem to have discoverd white/blue smoke from the exhausts, today while parked with engine at idle all of a sudden the amount of smoke nearly coverd the car, so checked in header for milky stuff but none was there, water was ok,checked oil e.c.t. so set off then at some lights it did it again loads of smoke, so now im getting worried anyone had same prob, it's a 53 plate 2.0T.

Is it after slowing down to a stop while in gear and not using the throttle? If so it could be the turbo sucking oil past the seals and then buring it off in the exhaust.

my 04 2.0t signum has just started doing the same thing. only does it when first started from cold or pulling away at round abouts or traffic lights.

does the engine idle revs drop to between 500-600rpm when its smokey?

also does it idle lumpy when its smokey?

if it smokes 1st thing in the morn could be valve stem oil seals or worn piston rings

no loss of power,new exhausts have gone black inside, smoked first thing this morning gets worse as it gets warmer,no smoke while driving but smokes when standing still.

mines exact same as that, do u get a sulphur smell from the smoke?

worn oil seals, piston rings, or possibly the turbo on its way out, hope not though,
