    Default clicking from glovebox

I have a clicking from the glove box area on my 2005 1.9 cdti that stops the radio from working properly and makes everything flash i have removed the glove box but for the life of me i can't make out exactly where the clicking is coming from. I have seen other threads with a similar fault but mine wont stop by pressing the air recirc button to stop mine i have to press the heated rear screen button. Any ideas?

    Kev.

There are relays mounted behind the fuse box to get at these you have to remove the glove box, could be that one of them is faulty.

Have you checked the battery voltage and whether the alternator is charging properly.

There are no signs that the alternater is not charging ok, everything else seems ok.
