Default hope i haven't made a boo boo?

    Hi everyone,

Just looking for your opinion to whether i made a bad mistake..

I recently sold my mint astra convertible and bought a signum elite 1.9cdti 54 plate.

I paid £3500 from a dealer with 122,000 on the clock.

I've got a feeling the thrust release bearings on its way out as it makes the tell tale sounds, hoping its not the dmf, but it has every trait of the release bearing..

fair price? can't help feeling a little hard done by..

Nice car but way too much money imo. That could cost you £800 to repair and its still done loads of miles.

My old siggy went throught the auction when I handed it back for £1k less than that with 67k on the clock. 3.0cdti.

Depending how long you have had it i'd try to give it back saying its not fit for purpose.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

It's my own fault, bought loads of cars and haven't slipped up til now.

I thought paying 3,500 was fair with it needing a clutch but the more i think about it, the more i think i payed over the odds.

The clutch kit and flywheel will set you back £460 ish for genuine LUK parts then its a matter of whether you can do it yourself or you get a garage to do it for you.
