    Default Pleased with Chris Knott

Just called them to tell them I have had a full stainless exhaust system fitted and the rear valance and it will put my insurance up a whopping £15 per annum. I was expecting a lot more! Defo use them again next year!

Strange the way it goes isn't it, I phoned Chris Knott this morning too, to get a quote as I was fed up with Admiral for reasons I won't go into here. The end result? Chris Knott quoted me over £200 more than Admiral. Suffice to say I took my business back to Admiral again.

But tbh is that 200 justified should you have a claim. I've heard too many bad stories about admiral, cheap prices yes, great service no way.

Funny how when you take out your policy with them its a nice british call centre you get, then from then on they transfer ya to india etc.

At least Chris Knott and the likes of Adrian Flux are 100% based in the UK and you get someone on the other end of the phone that knows what a K&N filter and Irmscher splitter are.

Also if you have and accident with your car and are insured by admiral, the car goes back to standard when repaired as the mods are not covered.

As for 15 quid for a full stainless exhaust...thats what I like to hear. I am with Adrian Flux and similarly they are good when it comes to performance mods

Been with Admiral for many many years now and never spoken to anyone that wasn't in the Uk or at least had a Uk accent. Have had various claims through them in the past with not a single issue ever.

£200 extra is a lot of money on a £400 insurance policy. That's 50% again. Admiral being cheap or not, that's a disgusting difference in price that I'm not prepared to pay.

Not saying Chris Knott aren't good, but they're not for me.
