2.2 removal?

Just bought myself an Irmscher badge of flee bay and want to put it where the 2.2 goes on the boot. Is it just a case of a credit card and maybe a hairdryer to get it off?

in this heat, credit card alone should do it. i use a bit of adhisive cleaner to get the stubborn bits off!

or just replace the chrome strip....not that dear..

Looks like im on it tomorrow then. Have noticed that the chrome strip is starting to look tatty so I might just take your advice and replace it.

How easy is it 2 replace the chrome strip as mine has a small ding in it

Without looking, if I remember rightly, pop the boot and just on the edge behind the strip there are some small bolts.

Chrome Strip £70 to replace. To replace. 4 bolts total and 2 clips. Bolt at either end of Strip. Remove boot carpet. 2 more bolts one either side of the boot lock. Plus 2 pull clips 1/3 of the way from each end.
