    Default

1, Chemical Guys Wash & Wax
2, waffle weave towel and blade plus a blower for jambs and creases
    3, Zymol cleaner wax
    4, Meg's Swirl x
5, Chemical Guys Cherry wet wax, or the non abrasive butter wet wax
6, Chemical Guys (cannot recall it's in the Garage)
7, Autosmart Gold Carnauba wax (Oooh it's lovely to use and so rich)
8, I use cotton polishing cloth followed by a microfibre to remove polish as it leaves no smear's streaks
9, C/G's tyre shine it lasts and I like shiny tyres when I am in the other mood its Brown Borthers tyre dressing spray
10, Meg's NXT deeply impressed me as does Turtle Wax ice as it leaves no white residue, most of the Autoglym stuff impresses but the silicone resin polish is dusty and messy

1 Washing _what shampoo you would use

Megs Hyperwash. Tiny amount needed so lasts forever. I avoid anything with wax added to it.

2 what drying clothes you would use

Chemical guys. Different league to the Meguires version.

3 what cleaner wax you would reccomend

    Never used one.

4 what scratch/swirl remover you would reccomend

    Never used one.

5 what polish you would reccomend

By machine. Of the ones I've tried Fastcut followed by Ultrafina. By hand AG SRP. Used correctly I thinks it's very underated. Megs three step is quite good on paint in good nick. (Although step 3 is pants )

6 what glaze/sealent you would reccomend

Not a fan of sealents. Much prefer a glaze. Megs #7 is a pain to work with but leaves a slightly glossier finish than Black hole in my experience.

7 what wax you would reccomend

Colly 915 followed by Colly 915 followed by Colly 915.

8 what ancillary products do you reccomend ie drying towls /applicator pads

A selection of brushes to really get the wheels clean. I have a rotary and RA machine polisher for the paintwork but I much prefer the latter. Especially on someone else's car.

9 what products you may of used on a one of trial basis that impressed you

Not one off but a Quik detailer is a must when just washing the car. Last touch is good but I found Megs ultimate detailer better. I use Zaino 8 when the car is going onto a stand. Expensive and even the fumes on the micro fibre can seem like too much but is does add a final 5% to a car that's been prepped well IMO.

Other stuff I use is APC for nearly everywhere. Very cherry wheel cleaner, Sonus Green clay, Snow foam, Poorboys natural dressing look for the interior (The only product that converted me to using anything on the interior) and Gliptone for plastics.

Apart from the other gazlion bottles of stuff left on the shelf that's about it.

Ah right, I thought you meant an all in one cleaner and wax. I use lime prime as a cleanser although I think the Megs step 1 does just a good a job.

I can't pretend to have come us with all the stuff I use on my own. I just had one hell of a teacher.

When you gonna post what you use BTW Bob?

    Default

    1) Drive to jet wash
    2) £3 in machine
    3) Have fun getting Matt wet when using the lance
    4) Go home

Repeated about once a month if we can be bothered but now it's show season time it'll be

    1) Pay the migrant workers at nearest station to show destination to do it.
