    Default 2.0 T remap - Abbot racing

Just spoke to them and they say they'll do a remap for £399 with filter. Is this reasonable?

Also do these vecs' have a desperate sender unit for the temp gauge and ecu coz my gauge seems to be playing up. Basicly at an estimated temp below 75c it wont register at all, but above this it's fine. No faults come up with op-com

TORQUING BHP REMAP is 300plus the VAT so cheaper - and Darrell is on the outskirts of Cambs - give him a call his details are on the approved traders section - the remap is quite agressive - but will make you smile

give me a Pm if your local to me (suffolk area) i'll pop over and take you for a spin

    regards

    Dez

I can also back up dez.I too to have Torquing BHP remap on my 2.0T. Darrell is atop guy, He's goes out of his way to help. Life time guarentee whilst you own the car and aftersales service is excellent too. 10/10

My other car. 1972 1641cc slammed beetle. On the road finally!!

I'm just worried if it's too aggressive then is it going to cause reliability issues and put extra stress on the internals and drive train I'd rather have something 'mild' and still be drivable on a day to day aspect and not have to worry if it's gunna blow up whenever give a bit of stick

So are you saying he could do one to suit what I would be 'comfortable' with?
Will I have to put it on a rolling road?

This is the first time I've heard Abbott Racing actually say they'll remap a Vec. The usual answer is bring it down and we'll have a look, but to my knowledge nobody has went and seen them, including myself.

Can only recommend BSR, but the money is for the box.
