    Vehicle : Vectra C Estate (150) Nav

    Trim : SRi

    Engine : 1.9 CDTi (150)

    Year : 2006

    Mileage : 126000

Only on CD. There is a 'funny' with the folder naming. If you use a standard CD format then obviously you only get an album or so's worth on but the disc name, artist and title are shown on the display, each on a seperate line. If you create an MP3 CD then you can get hundreds of tracks on in as many folders as you like, but, it doesn't display the disc name and only displays the name of the lowest level folder that the tracks are in and the name of the track.

So, if you have a folder with the artist's name, containing several albums in seperate folders underneath, then only the album name will be displayed along with the track name.

The way round this is to create a folder containing both the artist and album name. Then the artist, album name and track name will be displayed. You also need to ensure that the properties of each track contain the track name, otherwise it defaults to the actual filename.

    e.g.
    <Lady Gaga - The Fame>
01 Just Dance Feat. Colby O'Donis.mp3
    02 Lovegame.mp3
    03 Paparazzi.mp3
    etc.

Then you'll get the following on the display:

    Just Dance Feat. Colby O'Donis
    Lady Gaga - The Fame

In the audio menu you can then use 'album' to select the album and then 'track' to select the track within that album.

    Hope that helps!

This is only possible by buying one of those expensive interfaces, such as a Denison ICE link, or a Parrott 9100 etc from an Audio / I.C.E. fitting agency / supplier / shop.

CD70's manufactured by Siemens VDO before late 2007, do not even have a facility for a basic Aux-In plug.

CD70's after this date (I think made by a different company), only come with the option to fit an Aux-In lead...very few actually come with Aux-In connection fitted in the cubby hole under the heater / air con control panel.
