get an old diagnostic plug and use the connectors. then pop out the clips at the side of the diagnostic plug and fit the new wires in there. they go from pin 22 on screen plug to pin 3 on OBD plug and pin 23 on screen to pin 11 on OBD. ive done mine today and its a bit of a pain. Got old diagnosic plug from scrap yard for free.

I did this to my Cavalier project earlier today..

I fitted a Diagnostic plug (16 pin EODB II) - also free from friendly scrapper.
I connected the following to mine

Pin 1 - Green low speed canbus - to CIM module
Pin 3 - Green mid speed canbus - to screen pin 22
    Pins 4 & 5 - Linked together - Brown - chassis earth
Pin 7 - Brown / white - ALDL (Tech 1) - diagnostic link for Cavalier
Pin 11 - white mid speed canbus - to screen pin 23
    Pin 16 - Red - Battery Live voltage (+12V)

I've done this so that I can program my CIM, BCM, Display and Head-unit as and when required.
