    Default New custom exhaust

Ok just booked my car in to get a custom exhaust on saturday, due to old one being rusty and the bracket breaking so dont think it will pass the mot. anyway i've asked for a 2.5" cat back system with oval tailpipes each side, just wondering weather its worth getting a 3" or will i lose power, also twin on each side or oval, my car is a 2.0 turbo

I was thinking the same as you for mine, I was going to get a 3" system but the guy at the exhaust place said 2.5" is fine for the power I have at stage 1. 3" Will make it sound more meaty than the 2.5"

This is how the 3" system sounds..

i know that alot of the cav turbo owners (2.0 turbo) recamend a 3'' system on them as it helps get the gases out better so cant see why it wouldnt be the same on the vec
