    Default inner track rod removal

I changed the outer track rod ends today on my signum took about half hour each side to do. unforunatly it has not solved my wheel vibration issue that im having. So i am going to have to do the inner track rod and see if that solves the problem.

Do i need a special tool to remove the inner track rod end any help/tips much appreciated

You'll need a 36 and 22mm spanner IIRC as i changed the near side last week, but we got a tool from a local garage that's designed for the job so it was piece of ****. Tried to get hold of a 36mm spanner from a shop before we went to the garage and nobody that I tried stocked them.

The guy that does the work on my car, fitted new disk and pads couple of months back and when he brought the car back he said that the track rod bar or summit like that cant remember what it was was showing signs of wear and would be causing my wheel vibration.

Thought i would try and fit it myself as i need a new set of tyres on the sigbum so trying to keep costs down lol.

I just used large adjustable on inner rod ball housing..there weren't any flats on rack end.

it's an easy job.. make sure you measure where rod end is so you wont need it retracking
