    Default Folding Mirror Cover

    Hi all,

New powerfold wing mirrors arrived this morning along wih the rest of the bits to do the mirror upgrade.

However one thing I am currently unsure about is whether the existing wing mirror covers will fit the power fold mirror assemblies?

Anyone able to confirm or have the part numbers?

    Cheers

    Paul

As ken says they will fit, just swap them over from your old ones to the new. If you got the infilling pieces make sure you fit these first as they clip onto the underside of the cover (as a tip I put them into a cup of boiled water first to soften the lugs as they are a tight fit)

They basically just stop rubbish getting into the folding mechanism when folded, Cost about £1.50 each if memory serves me right. There's one specifically for the Left and one for the Right hand side. Took me a while to work out how they fit but once in place they cover the hole in the cover when folded

Took some finding as at work but here is the post I spotted http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showpo...&postcount=200 re the mirror inserts. There's one for Left mirror and one for the right, doesn't matter if the car is LHD or RHD though
