    Stealers = RUBBISH!!

    From my recent experiences of them, I shall avoid them at all costs in future. They will rip you off. They wouldn't even sell me some smaller items because it wasn't worth their while! They are greedy idiots.

    The £450 will include labour, probably around £60 per hour
    The £150 is parts only

    However, £450 is rather on the high side
    Equally, there is very little difference in price between the cost of the pads and discs between models
    They had to recheck my quote (for pads and discs) at the end of last year, as there was just £5 between the 1.8 and 3.0 V6 CDTI

    At least the parts dept is inside the main showroom at my local VX Stealer (Evans Halshaw, MK). When I occasionally bought the odd part for my old Volvo S80 2.4 from Pillings Volvo, MK, the parts dept was "back out the front door, turn right, go all the way round the back, down the alley, through the little door marked 'parts' (quite small), and a bloke we have chained to the desk may eventually speak to you". Well, they might as well have said that. It's all glitz and glamour for buying a new motor, but, want some bits? Well, then you have to crawl on your knees through the door of shame. Stoopid stealers.

    What are they, gold plated? Titanium? Sure they're not quoting for Giovarnardi's Vectra? That's absolutely ridiculous

    Looks like a dealer that is not aware there is a pad and disc kit price (charges for each component)
    That's some scam that, I'd avoid that dealership at all "costs"

    I got discs and pads all round for my 2.0T for £138 delivered from Autovaux. Pleased with that.

    The parts were Mintex (rear) and GM (front) discs and Delphi and Trupart pads. Had never heard of Trupart but they're the rear pads so not too worried.

    Make sure you get the vented rear discs for the 2.0T.
