Foot rest

Do any of the Insignia models have an alloy or plastic footrest?
My SRI has a footrest which is just covered in carpet and I would like to protect the carpet from wear.

just a thought but the rubber mats in the vectras cover the footrest do they not in the insignia?

My mat's don't cover the foot rest like the vec's but they are cheap tat provided by the fleet company.

I reckon there should be something there as well, My Signum had a plastic footrest!

So did my Vectra. I need to do something with it bacause i dont want my carpet to wear on the raised bit where the footrest should be.

hi mate had a look around the net and found nada, what i did find though was that there is wires that run underneath the carpet at that bit, so if you decide do go aftermarket be wary how you fit it.
