Caliper Paint

Hi guys,

Just thought I'd put up a thread about the Folia Tec caliper paint.......it's not a Vauxhall but you get the idea

The paint comes with an aerosol cleaner a tin of paint and tin containing the hardener.

All in all it seemed to work very well and when completed left a very bright finish, there is more than enough paint to do probably 2 or even 3 cars with multiple coats, this car (a Honda Civic Jordan) had 3 coats of paint, the only down side is that the car has to stand for 24hours before the wheels are fitted........so here are the pics: -

PS doing this without the use of axle stands allowing all 4 wheels to be removed at once must be a nightmare

24 Hours Seems A Long Time To Have To Leave It

Yeah it does but that's what it says on the tin........so just to be on the safe side that's what it'll get.........I think it would probably apply if done in winter

It's my son's car and he's on night shift so it's not a problem giving it the 24hours

nice motor bryan has it the 1.6 vtec engine in it . my wifes brother had a civic with the 1.6 vtec engine in it and it went like stink but it cost him arm and leg to insure it but they are good cars

Hi David,

Yes it has the V-Tec engine but as far as insurance goes it's a LOT cheaper than the Clio V6 so he's Mr Happy eh
