    Angry Drivers wing mirror

Driving home from the local garden center this afternoon with the kids and some T**t decided that he could fit past the parked car on his side of the road and smashed into my wing mirror, it was so loud it woke my youngest up who was asleep.

Luckly only my mirror smashed (heated) and the cover slightly cracked so need to go down to dealers tomorrow and fork out for that. And the other car was a black vectra as well. Was going to turn round and chase to get reg number but he had gone he was driving like a ****.

So as well as loosing £20 quid on some other car parts I now need to cough up for the mirror, my car has an MOT on Wed so hope I can get a mirror glass in time. Oh yes and the electrics have started playing up in the boot that are connected to my towing box thingy, if I disconnect it all the lights on the passenger side cluster stop working. Will get the garage to look at that on Wed as well.

Mus be because I posted about getting rid of it. Anyone else had a great weekend?

Right well lights all sorted, was a bulb that was playing up, the glass had come away from the metal bit and was causing it to intermittently work, phew. After all that was nothing to do with tow bar electrics, amazing what you can do with an hour of time without 2 kids running round wanting to help.

Do I need my drivers mirror for the MOT? If I remember as long as you have 2 working mirrors it will pass?? anyone?

I think drivers mirror is the most important out of the two, so needs to be fitted.

And i've had a good weekend in comparison, left the car pretty much alone so not broke anything or had any issues

Well if dealers don't have one in tomorrow will go pay Halfords a visit, they must have some in being a Vauxhall.

Well, went to VX and was £30 for a new mirror, has the blind spot bit on the end now so a bonus, all ready for the MOT now tomorrow fingers crossed it goes through with no issues.
