    Default Hi-Viz Jackets

Anybody know the best way to get stains off a hi-viz jacket? My work one has got a few dirt marks on it and a normal wash hasn't taken them off.

Call me wierd but I like to keep my uniform looking nice and smart lol

what are the stains ?? oil or just general dirt???

if its oil based then a good degreaser rubbed into the affected area with cold water in a sink- even swarfega will help brake up the grime - then wash with vanish or a similar detergent

It's a sign of a good and hardworking techie when his hi-viz jacket becomes more of a low-viz jacket...

AN EASY ONE FOR A CHANGE!! for general information! always keep a GOOD furniture polish handy! such as pledge or any alike that contain or look similar when used ! (waxy/creamy), if i get black/fifth wheel graphite type grease on my skin do this, shake polish tin well, spray just above the grease! then simply wipe the waxy/creamy polish towards the grease!, and as if by magic it will lift completely off!!!, so the method for clothing i would use is! shake can well!, spray the polish directly into the stain (plenty + several times) from both sides if poss, before it dries put into the washer with a good quality powder!. or wash in sink with a good quality ''fairy liquid'' with a small amount of water!, in both cases i would prefer 'not' to use products containing a 'softener' ie a wash powder/softener.
