looks nice mate
Clean car mate, looks good
Nice one mate I'm Liking it. You have a smart looking car. I love the Opel badge.
I've been told off someone that the grill you have is for a Siggy on another thread, I dunno how true it is though.
I'll find Which thread it was....
To be continued.....
yea i think i was on the same thread as you lol, its a siggy grille, think i prefer the vec opel grille as the chrome arms protude out further
nice car btw
I don't think it looks too much like a Club anymore. The back of the car is my least favourite bit, hopefully it will look better once it is lowered, but unfortunately a new back box (visible tailpipe) is some way off yet.
The grill was from ebay from LMF. I didn't like it at first, but it is definitely growing on me. I think it would look better with different lower grills that kind of matched a bit better.
Where abouts are you based? Pics were taken in sunny Blyth
Yeah it was the same thread m8
I thought I recognized it I'm at Cramlington just 2 mins down the road.
I need mine to have as much chrome as poss as that's the way i'm going. take a look at
My I'm going with black silver and Chrome thread. you'll see what i have done so far.
This site is the bog dolicks, luvin it.
Took me flippin ages to clean and polish (many, many hours), but unfortunately the light was fading a bit too much when I took the pics to get the full effect.
I also think I might have poisoned myself when I was cleaning her. The tar remover is potent stuff lol! I think the neighbours thought I was mad going round the car removing every last little bit of tar.
One thing I have noticed is that the paint on her seems quite thin? Not sure if it is any thinner than other cars??
Also had to touch up a couple of bits, one on the side where I had removed the club badge and it took some of the paint with it. The other was because the laquer was peeling just above the wheel arch, strangely following the arch of the arch perfectly. Not sure what caused this?
Please don't all fall about laughing, as this is probably the go faster stripe syndrome, but since I have fitted the new grill, the car definitely feels faster.
The intake for the airbox doesn't appear to be as restricted as with the old grill's horizontal slats. On the new grill it seems to fit perfectly behind the honeycomb mesh bit. I haven't done anything else since fitting the grill, airbox mod was done before that.
Like I say, please don't all laugh at once. I know it is most probably all in my mind lol.
