Default M-TEC 501's or Phillips Blue Vison

So far i have spent a fortune on trying to find the whitest sidelight bulbs for sale, so far i have tried led's with and without resistors (as people are aware not really a viable option) but still not working. So i have now gone on to the usual standard type 501 bulbs, these include the Halfords Ultra Blue 501's, another type of Halfords 501 and currently i am running the Phillips Blue Vision 501's. Can anyone tell me if the M-TEC 501's will be whiter than the Phillips ones as they are slightly better than anything else i have tried but still giving off the nasty yellow colouring. Only asking because it seems that alot of people on the forum are using the M-TEC ones but from the pictures i have seen of these bulbs the glass colour is the same as the Phillips ones.
    Cheers people.

I have M-TEC 501's, they give off a white light, the bulb is blue, but its definately white light, no warnings either, or strobing... dont' think you can go wrong with them!

Well i have just ordered some M-TEC's from HIDS DIRECT so we will just have to wait and see once they turn up. I will not be buying anymore bulbs after this as i can't see any other way of getting white sidelights.

Now if they are like in your pictures i will be happy with that, just getting fed up of all these different bulbs claiming they let off a white light and all i seem to get is yellow. Hopefully once these are in they will go well with my xenons.

Well my M-TEC 501's turned up today so i have just put them in and thats more like it. At £6 a pair they are a tad overpriced for sidelight bulbs but well worth it in my eyes plus now i don't have to spend even more on trying to find the whitest bulbs.
