I think you'll need resistors mate, but I haven't a clue which ones, here's a page on ebay that has them, good luck with it.http://shop.ebay.co.uk/?_from=R40&_t...All-Categories

You can take a wire from the cigarette lighter socket illumination, through a relay and replace the side light wire with it. They'll then come on when you switch the side lights on and best of all they'll come on when you press the key to unlock the car.
To cancel the bulb warning you can either use a resistor or just use a 501 bulb hidden away/capped.

This is the best way... but you can also take the feed from the heated rear seat illumination (green and a brown blocks/yellow grey wires) under the rear lighter socket - if you have them it'll save you messing with the lighter socket illumination as there usless anyway... Unless you have heated seat of course

surely a resistor wont help the flashing? it will get rid of bulb warning but because of the vecs self electric circuit test thingy it wont stop the flashing when car is locked or unlocked or sidelights switched off after being on or drivers door being opened ect ect??

    i may be wrong??

saying that i had a idea the other day, could you fit a capacitor before the leds and that will store the vecs system check charge rather than lighting up the leds??

it would take a few seconds on switch on for the sidelights to respond as capacitor needs to fill up but after that??

reason i was told they flash is the system check current is enough to light leds but not bulbs?? leds only need 0.6v to light???
