    Default Don`t know...?!?!

    Hy...
Today I found my light switch button had an strange option...you can push it inside...
So now I want to know what you can do with this option?
At the corsa C if you turn the ignition on position II and push the light switch button you turn on the "Follow me Home" option(when locking the car, lights go on and stay for 30 sec...then it`s turn Off...)....but at Vectras/Signums what you can do with this button?can we somehow turn on the "Follow me home" option???
Here is 2 pics with the switch in normal position and second is in the "pushed" position...

Follow me home on vec c is done by opening drivers door and pulling indicator stalk towards you as if flashing your main beam (drivers door must be open and ignition off) should illuminate headlights and reverse lights

I think Benny is probably referring to the one you have changed, to be honest mate if your pedal is now returning to the top as it were after fitting the spring and your CC is working ok, I would leave well alone as this could lead to more trouble than it's worth.
    To remove the pedal cover:

    1. remove light switch, by switching to position '0' then push the knob in and whilst holding it in, turn it to the central position, this locks the switch and allows it to be pulled out and the wiring harness can then be removed if needs be.

    2. A screw (torx) should now be seen in the light switch recess, remove this.

    3. The lower panel (covers the pedal area so to speak) has a sort of tray on as it were and there are 2 torx screws recessed in there remove these

    4. another 3 torx screws under the lower edge of the panel

5.. Pull the panel away and move to one side
    Cheers Pete

For sure (used it myself). It's for getting the switch fitting out of the fixture. Had to get it out to route my Parrot cable around the dash.

Drivers door doesn't need to be open. All that is required is the key removed from the ignition.
