    Default De-lock Drivers Door...

What would be the best way to go in an emergency situation...

Running a second bonnet pull down to the front or an arch etc (hidden obviously)

Or run a power lead off the battery so i can jump it should battery die??

What other ways round it would you recommend?!? (other then not doing it )

If your battery runs flat and you can't unlock the car to pop the bonnet.... get underneath and use jump leads... negative to a decent chunk of engine... positive to nice big positive lead on starter motor..... that should quickly allow sufficient power to allow central locking to be zapped open.

Sorry, i'm planning on removing the lock stub (from the drivers) and fitting a blanking stub instead.

But if the battery on the car goes i'd be screwed - So the 1st post are my only ideas at the min to gain access to the car

Thats what i was thinking, + lead feeding down to behind the foglights... Or a short bonnet catch wire...

But which is better - any other options...

By 'lock stubb' do you mean the lock barrel ?

Not the cleverest of ideas I'd have thought..... batteries go flat... lock motors fail.... zappers die..... the key might well be your last hope.

You beat me to it mate.

I de locked my Pug 306, all I did was run two wires down behind the fogs with the other ends connected to the battery. Make sure there well insulated and cant short and bob's your uncle. But as said, your boot will be the same as mine with a lock so your could just go through there. Or to be really flash, fit the lock barrel inside and underneath the mirror housing, obviously it wouldn't pop the drivers lock physically but it would pop the central locking so you could get in the passenger door.
