    Default Parrot MKi9200

Hi all, spoke to halfrauds yesterday and was going to buy this and free fitting, only to be told " if you have built in sat nav, we wont do it, you will need to pay £40 for the mobile fitting"

Is this true? Is it easy to fit my self? I have a NCDC 2013, what adaptor will I need? I thought they would want my money, but instead put barriers up?

its because it will need a non standard iso lead that they dont carry in stock to allow the sat nav to still "speak" when a call is in progress

iirc i think its a SOT-78 that you need

If you have Canbus you need a SOT122 which is about £15 - £20.

it will go straight in ,, even with NAV

As it's a NCDC radio it's half can so wouldn't that need a VDA (AUTOLEADS 06-102B) lead ??

I'll ask when I go in the office as long as I can get hold of the bloke who used to train the Halfords store staff, if he isn't in i'll send him a text. I have this kit fitted to mine but had the CD40 and needed the SOT122 lead and everything works as it should. You just need to marry up the mute leads by plugging in the lose wire on the lead. There are 2 SOT122 leads out there 1 than does everything and one that is missing some of the connections to the steering controls I think. On ebay they are down as SOT122 without steering and SOT122S with steering controls.

Thanks, if I can get the right connector kit, I could probally save myself about £50 from buying the main unit else where and the correct adaptor from the 'frauds. Just to confirm, it is the 1/2 canbus as I have the three buttons instead of the scroll wheel.

    Cheers

I'm pretty sure you do, well I did. You can find the exact Parrot lead from their website here: http://www.parrot.com/uk/support/installationdiagrams

I don't know the equivalent SOT or Autoleads numbers. For the later full can systems it's SOT 122 but I think SOT 078 may be correct for your 4-digit radio.

PS: This is what the Parrot site comes up with http://www.parrotshopping.com/uk/p_p....aspx?i=145292
which doesn't seem too expensive. My SOT122 was about £20 from somewhere like autoleads.
