Idiots.....passing themselves off as being "Singh's" (Ashley Singh)!
    When they clearly are not!

    Disgraceful.

I hate people like that....im all one for making a profit but the way they are doing it is simply outrageous! I hope they get whats coming to them!

It really ticks me off when i see people getting scammed by these f****rs.

I was scammed a couple of times a few years back and the last time it cost me £4,000.00.

Nowadays Gum Tree and Auto Trader are just FULL of scammers. My basic rule is if the seller/dealer llists his car with only a mobile phone which is usually 075xxxxxxxx, I'll stay well away from it.

My tips for a safe buy is:

    1. Always ask to meet seller for car inspections/purchase at the seller's home/place of business, never on some back alley in Petersborough, like them ones on Watchdog.

    2. If going to meet someone that you don't know, take a friend with you.

    3. Never show or mention any cash until you are satisfied with the goods.

    4. If seller refuses to meet up at hie home/place of business, suggest to meet up in front or even inside a police station, you will see the f****r run 20 miles in 5 seconds.

    5. ALWAYS, ask for a landline number and confirm that the number is working and belongs to the seller by calling it, or even googling it.

    6. ALWAYS ask for the resgistration number and buy a report which varies from FREE - £20, it is worth it (see the links for car checks below). Also get a VOSA MOT report for milage check.

    7. DO NOT pay any NON-REFUNDABLE deposit, if the car is in good nick, the seller will not have any problems refunding you any deposit in case you're not happy with the car.

    8. Never pay any moneys by PayPal outside eBay, simply because most times when you deal by PayPal outside eBay you do not get Buyer's Protection. Always choose to pay for the whole amount in person.

    9. Get a receipt stating that the seller is the LEGAL owner of the car and that he/she have the LEGAL right to sell the car, otherwise if there's finance on the car, the finance company WILL come to collect the car. I know that, because I have been in that situation. Don't just go buy the V5, as that does not cover you in case there's outstanding finance on the car.

    10. Used cars are usually sold "AS SEEN", so if you don't know anything about cars, please get a friend who knows or even a mechanic to look at the car before you buy. If you buy a "LEMON", is on you, no point on going back to the seller, unless the seller has given you some sort of warranty.
