Ambient lighting

Has anyone fitted to two LED lights mounted in roof (interior light usually) like BMW etc now fit that bathe the console in warm light?

I have one as standard behind the mirror that shines down on the centre console..

Signum Design (facelift) 2006. The mirror has a small coloured lense behind it with a bulb in that shines down on the ashtray/centre console. With a brighter bulb it may spread over a larger area. Will look into it when I attempt my LED conversion...

I am currently looking into making lights that shine into the grab handles on the inside of the doors... If it works I will probably put a thread up as it would of cost less than a tenner

My old 7 series had these they are very cool as are ultra bright white LED puddle lights on the underside of the door mirrors

Yeh another mod I was looking at. The Omega had puddle lights as standard and was thinking of retrofitting some under my doors with a blue or white light. only trouble will be finding a power source that only comes on when the doors are opened (from nearby).. they again are around a tenner lol!

Yes now that will not be so easy as there are few sources of such a power supply.

If your Vec has the sight and light pack it has this as standard. It's fitted into the base of the auto dipping interior mirror.

Mine doesn't have this so obvious question, can it be retro-fitted easily?
