    Default lowering springs and upper control arms

    as title how much should i be looking at to get these fitted been told an hour for each spring and an hour for each control arm at £30 an hour does this seem ok also what kind of prices will i be looking at for somewhere like quick fit to fit

    Did my springs and shocks this weekend mate. Never done it before, took me an hour for the first front and then once I knew what I was doing I probably did the second it half that time and same with the back. If you have the tools its actually very easy and straight forward.

    thats the problem havent got the tools i did think he was taking the **** with the hour each side for the rears

    Wheel off, caliper off, lower control arm to hub bolt off and the spring just pulls out. You don't even need spring compressors for the rear.

    ive read the how to for the rears thats what made me wonder as if i had the tools i cant see the rears taking me any longer than an hour for both

    The rears will only take you about 10 minutes a side, as others have said, it's just take wheel off, undo lower arm bolt, push arm down and pull spring out, new spring in, jack arm back up and bolt back in and wheel back on, you're done. The fronts will take longer and word to the wise, crack the top nut loose (but do NOT undo it) BEFORE you drop the leg out, still only about 45 mins a side even allowing for fitting spring clamps.
