Thought I would upload some pics of the car now shes debadged. No more Griffins, Signums or Designs on the paint work.

Also got to work on a few scratches with Autoglym Paint Renovator... they look much more subtle now

Thanks! Do you know what... I flew back to the UK to buy it thinking it was black and when I bought it I remember thinking... this is such a boring sensible colour... But everyone loves it! (Baring in mind I am also colour blind may have something to do with it lol???)

But its growing on me... could do with getting the bumper repaired though

Nice car. Took the DESIGN and 1.9 CDTi badges off mine the other day. Left the signum and griffin on though.

How did you get the glue gunge of. Mine's left a mess on the doors.

Right pain... the Signum bit was okay cos I got the heat up (using a hair dryer) and it peeled most of it off. The design and Vx badge left loads!

I used a hair dryer to warm it and picked at it with my nail (lol) then when it was just the outline left on the paintwork I used tar remover. It took around 5 applications each time cleaning it off with Meguirs Quick detailer and then after I gave it a wax.

All in all took around an hour and half to square them all away.
