    Default aircon leak identification

As well as getting my car MOT'd yesterday, I asked to get the aircon recharged however they couldn't because apparently it has a leak.

Can anyone recommend a method or product to identify where the actual leak is in the system?

I was taking advantage of Kwikfit's "Recharge or No charge" since it was only £25. However they just came back and said that the aircon wouldn't hold the gas and that they don't do repairs so didn't indicate where the leak was.

Was hoping to be able to identify if a host was or seal was leaking somehow myself.

kwik fit don't add any dyes, but they told me if I got it fixed they would refill free of charge. Not really much use as I'd probably get it filled by whoever fixes it

Check for any stones in the condenser first.
