    Good engine. Bad fuel economy.
Check timing belt has been replaced.

Welcome to the club Shane. Is it the GSi you've bought.

it goes like stink, the engine is strong, it does 70mph in 2nd, it will empty a tank in under 300 miles, its group 15 insurance, its great to drive, it beats so many cars on the road, it costs £215 a year to tax.

    anything else.....lol

8,000 miles ago lol. If you hav'nt purchased it already bargain the price of a timing belt kit getting done on it into the sale.

There great cars just check there is no oil leaks as these can be expensive to sort out.

They are a damn good motor. If you have a drive in it you could quite well be hooked on it.

Great cars but nobody wants mine http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showthread.php?t=104440

Timing belt @ Vx, around £400 but get the water pump done as well as it's the same amount of labour / strip down to do the pump as it is the cam belt.

I had the belt, pump, plugs and auxillary belt done at VX for £600.

EDIT - seems it's around £5-600 under book price so drive a hard bargain. The official VX line on cam belt change is 80k miles. Phone any VX stealer and they'll confirm this.
